In This War of Mine there is no goal other than to survive until a cease-fire is announced, and along the way you’ll have to confront gangs and soldiers, but also freezing temperatures, hunger, depression, sickness and your own sense of humanity. Most of the civilians you control have no military background or survival experience, and some even come with baggage such as addictions to nicotine or caffeine, so it can be an uphill battle just to help them keep their wits, but the sense of accomplishment you feel when you make it through to that final day is unlike any other in modern video games.
